Testimonials
Members have great things to say about our club!
"I enjoy being a Kiwanian because of the comradery and teamwork that exist in this organization. But most of all I enjoy being part of an organization that supports children in our community. Kiwanis provides scholarships for education, food for the hungry and builds playgrounds for children so they can get outside and exercise. The work and dedication of this group is truly inspiring and I’m proud to be a member."

"Kiwanis offers many layers that you can be involved in. Maybe you've been approached by someone about joining or learning more about Kiwanis, or maybe you're already looking for a way to serve your community. Kiwanis partners with various organizations to increase their impact, usually donating to local non-profit organizations and agencies that make a difference in the community. It could be a diaper drive or volunteering at a community event to help share what Kiwanis does for the children. Not only is it great to perform community service, I also have a lot of fun with my fellow members. Kiwanis sponsors different youth programs and gives back to help give the children in the community great resources to help them become a great future leader. Kiwanis isn't just about doing service - it's about the great relationships that you make with the members and others in the community! Our Thursday lunches are great fellowship with other members as well as an opportunity to listen to a speaker to learn what is going on in our community. I joined Kiwanis because it's perfect for me – changing children’s lives and improving our community. The projects we do really make a difference in our community and who wouldn’t want to be a part of that impact!"

"Kiwanis Club is more than just a club. Our members are from all walks of life and cover all age groups. We work together to better our community, specifically focusing on our youth. Whether it is ringing the bell for the Salvation Army, collecting school supplies for students, or packing meals to donate to area food banks and pantries, we all do it with a full heart.
While serving, we also form friendships that last a lifetime. My Kiwanis friends are some of the most important people in my life.
I am thankful to be an Augusta Kiwanian."
