About Sponsored Youth Clubs

Kiwanis International is a "family" of organizations that focuses on teaching young children about the responsibilities of good citizenship, community service and building future leaders. This is done through Kiwanis Clubs, Key Clubs, Circle K Clubs, Builder's Clubs, K-Kids Clubs, and Aktion Clubs. To learn more about all of the clubs working toward this goal, click here.

The Augusta Kiwanis Club takes pride in sponsoring three Key Clubs, one Builder's Club, and one K-Kids Club in our community.

Key Clubs: Cony High School, Hall-Dale High School, Richmond High School
Builder's Clubs: Cony Middle School
K-Kids Club: Farrington Elementary School

Our sponsored youth groups independently initiate service projects and community service activities throughout the school year. Our club works through an adviser in each youth organization to coordinate our participation with their activities or to have them work with us on major service programs and fundraisers.
Calloway Coffee House
Cony Key Club hosted their annual Calloway Coffee House on October 19, 2023. Chellie Calloway, a beloved Cony teacher, passed away due to domestic violence in August 2004, and this event is held in her honor. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Family Violence Project.
3,000 LBS OF FOOD!
Koleman Kroesser, a member of the Richmond High School Key Club, has donated food and his time to the Richmond Food Pantry since he was in 8th grade and as he was nearing the end of 2023, he wanted to donate 3,000 lbs. of food. He rallied those around him to meet his goal.

Food Packing Service Project
Farrington Elementary School K-Kids spent the day with us on February 10th packing 10,000 meals to donate into our community.
